The Technical Assistance for Civil Society Organisations (TASCO) project Consortium presents a mix of organisations with local and international expertise. The partners have been carefully selected in order to secure an effective achievement of all project goals and to support civil society organisations in the region of the Western Balkans and Turkey towards their EU integrations. The Consortium has an extensive experience in successfully implementing international projects in transitional and developing countries.

SIPU International - the Swedish Institute for Public Administration - is the lead partner of the Consortium and is responsible for the overall implementation of the project. SIPU International is a consultancy and training organisation specialized in public sector development, with an extensive experience in providing support to the institutions most essential to democracy development. SIPU forms part of the FCG Group, which operates in around 20 countries and has a record of consultancies in about 50 countries globally.

Ecorys is one of the oldest and largest economic research and consulting companies in Europe, with a 84-year history, which started in 1929 with the establishment of the Netherlands Economic Institute in Rotterdam. Today it represents an international group of companies specialising in economic and social development.

INTRAC, the International NGO Training and Research Centre, was set up in 1991 to provide training, consultancy and research services to organisations involved in relief and development. INTRAC's goal is to improve civil society performance by strengthening management and organisational effectiveness and by tracking and documenting trends in policy.

Partners Foundation for Local Development (FPDL) - is a Romanian non-governmental organisation which supports the democratic processes of governance; Civil Society development; promotion of a new culture of change and conflict management; Public Administration and NGO representatives through capacity building activities in order to be more effective, efficient and accountable.

Euclid Network (EN) is a growing European community of change-makers who share values built around creating a positive social impact. It aims to empower civil society leaders, social entrepreneurs and social innovators for a global community of engaged and active citizens. Euclid Network currently has members in over 31 countries (including several neighbourhood countries) and encompasses a community of 5000 contacts.

Association for Civil Society Development SMART is a not-for profit organization established in July 1999 led by a team of professional trainers/consultants with a large (15-20 years) of experience in the Croatian non-profit sector. Association for Civil Society Development SMART encourages efficiency and efficacy of non-profit sector and intersectoral cooperation, and promotes volunteering.

Access to Education for Roma
The Study Visit, Access to Education and Employment for Roma Youth - Good Practices and Models from Spain was organised from May 9-11 in Madrid, Spain within the framework of the People to People component of the TACSO Project. The Visit focused on the model by the Fundacion Secretariado Gitano (FSG) over the past 35 years, including educational and employment programmes as well as awareness-raising and anti-discrimination work.
