This event gathered institutional authorities and civil society actors from Kosovo, the region and the EU, and explored best models and practices that will be shared and discussed together, to contribute to shaping the future policies that will improve the overall situation of the education of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities in Kosovo.
The purpose of this activity was to assist Kosovo institutions, the Office of Good Governance, Human Rights, Equal Opportunities and Gender Issues (OGG) in developing new policies and an approach to monitoring and coordination of implementation of the education-related measures of the policy document that will replace the Strategy for the Integration of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian Communities in the Republic of Kosovo and the associated Action Plan.
