Women’s Safe House together with the Gender Equality Committee have organized on the 24th and 25th of November 2015 an International Conference dedicated to the implementation of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence, on the theme: ‘’General and Specialized Support Services for Women Who Have Experienced Violence - Quality and Availability Assurance’’.

Participants at the Conference were parliamentarians, repesentatives of the state institutions and non-governmental organizations dealing with protection and promotion of the rights of women victims of violence from Montenegro, Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia and Turkey.

Conference was organized within the project ‘’Coordinated efforts - Toward new European standards in protection of women from gender based violence’’, TACSO (Tehnical Assistance for Civil Society Organizations) - People2People component and UN WOMEN.
