Technical Assistance for
Civil Society Organisations

FAQ

The key challenges facing the Civil Society Sector are related to limited influence in decision-making processes, weak organizational capacity, lack of cohesion across the sector, low-level of community based operations and insufficient regional networking. This project assists CSOS in overcoming these challenges primarily through capacity-building activities. Other ways of supporting CSOs is to strengthen their effective cooperation with the government and other stakeholders and facilitate learning so that new knowledge and skills may be applied to development challenges. For this purpose, Technical Assistance Desks (T/A) are established in each country.
